PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating a number of shootings in the city that happened early Saturday morning.
Around 12:16 a.m., police responded to the scene of a double homicide at 16th and Susquehanna Avenue, where they found a 46-year-old man and a 39-year-old man shot multiple times. The 39-year-old was shot at least once in the head. Both were pronounced dead around 12:30 a.m.
Then, just before 4 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot and killed at Christopher Columbus Boulevard and Christian Street in South Philadelphia. Another man was also shot in the throat and taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made in either incident.
