Mild For March
By Steven Strouss
Spring-like temperatures have arrived in the Delaware Valley and if you liked today's high of 63 degrees then you will love tomorrow as temps climb even higher. It was a beautiful Wednesday with temperatures 15 to 20 degrees above average from Allentown to Atlantic City. Thursday's high temperatures will range from 65-70 degrees which is more typical for late April.
This mild air is courtesy of strong southwest winds combined with sunshine and low humidity. A cold front will sweep through early Friday morning and knock down temperatures a bit for the weekend but then we will be back in the 60s early next week!
Spring officially arrives on March 20th but that shouldn't stop you from enjoying any outdoor activities. An extra hour of daylight will be nice too as we spring forward this weekend. Sunset on Sunday will be at 7:04pm.
