PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank in Northeast Philadelphia Monday afternoon.
The robbery happened at about 2:50 p.m. at the TD Bank located in the 6600 block of Frankford Avenue in the city’s Mayfair section.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank and presented a teller with a threatening demand note.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect ran out of the bank.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40-45 years old, 5’7″- 5’9″, approximately 180 lbs. He was clean shaven with a reddish, ruddy complexion and was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie.
