Man Injured In Delaware County House Fire

DABRY, Pa. (CBS) – A man was hospitalized after being injured in a house fire in Delaware County late Monday evening.

The fire started shortly after 11 p.m. at a home in the 700 block of Greenway Avenue in Darby.

According to fire officials, the one-alarm fire apparently began in the porch area and quickly spread to the inside of the home.

Firefighters were able to place the blaze under control in about 15 minutes.

The unidentified man was taken to Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in an unknown condition.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
