PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities are investigating what caused a driver to crash into the side of an apartment complex in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday morning.
The incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. at the Petoni Apartments in the 13000 block of Bustleton Avenue in the city’s Somerton section.
Authorities say the unidentified man, who lives in the complex, drove his car into the main building of the complex that borders Bustleton Avenue. The man then backed up, drove to the rear of the building where he parked his car and went inside his apartment.
Police are investigating whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. So far, no charges have been filed.
There were no reports of any injuries.
The incident remains under police investigation.
