PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A car chase in Abington, Montgomery County ended with the suspects’ car crashing into a police patrol car.

The incident happened around 1:00 a.m. at Acorn and Edge Hill Roads in Abington. Police were chasing a vehicle that ending up ramming into the police cruiser.

One officer went to the hospital to be checked out and was released.

Three people, including the driver, were taken into custody at the scene.

They will now face charges including reckless endangerment and related offenses.
