PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Low income women looking for a job can take can take part in a day-long event to get them on the right path.

Smart and Sexy Day at Career Wardrobe in Philadelphia is designed to help low income women look and feel professional as they head into the workforce. Executive Director Sheri Cole says one seminar will focus on body image.

“If you don’t like what you see in the mirror everyday or if you see images in the media that don’t quite live up to what you see when you look in the mirror, it can be quite self defeating,” Cole explains.

Another workshop will focus on how to use skills learned at home in the office and the importance of appropriate and properly fitting clothing, from underwear to outerwear. To learn more about the March 13th program call 215-568-6693.
