PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – I’ve been waiting to write this for weeks: RELEASE THE BRACKINS!

The Sixers have recalled Craig Brackins to the Sixers from their D-League the Maine Red Claws. In seven games with Maine, Brackins scored 18.9 points per game, 9.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in in 34 minutes per game.

They also announced center Francisco Elson is no longer with the team. Elson completed his second consecutive 10-day contract with the team.

The Sixers play the Warriors tonight at 8pm at the Wells Fargo Center.
