Friends, Family Say Goodbye To 11-Year-Old Girl Killed In Last Month's School Bus Accident

By Paul Kurtz

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) - Eleven-year-old Isabelle Tezsla will be laid to rest following a viewing Friday in South Jersey. The sixth grader was killed in last month's horrific crash involving her school bus and a truck.

The line of mourners extended to the church parking lot when the doors opened at St. Gregory the Great in Hamilton Square. Some brought their school age children to say goodbye to Teszla (pictured on the right). Angela Powell doesn't know the family at all, but she came anyway. Last month's accident hit too close to home.

"I have an 11 year old and I just can't imagine. Accidents happen and although we may not know someone. We still feel them in the spirit," said Powell.

Isabelle's sister Natalie was with her family for the viewing and funeral. The third sister, Sophie, remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
