Man Gunned Down In Ambush Shooting In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police are searching for suspects in a deadly ambush-style shooting early Thursday morning.

The deadly shooting happened in the 2200 block of N. Cleveland Street in North Philadelphia.

According to investigators, a 32-year-old male was sitting in a car with a female passenger when the suspects came up to the car and began shooting, striking the victim several times.

The male was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The female passenger was not injured.

So far, no arrests have been made and a motive in the fatal shooting remains under police investigation.
