PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Sixers offense has not been the same since Spencer Hawes went down with an injured Achilles. They will have to figure out a way to get it back on track without him for the time being.
The Sixers announced today that Hawes will not play in a game for at least two weeks from today. Hawes saw Dr. Richard Ferkel of the Southern California Orthopedic Institute over the All-Star break.
Hawes was told to stop wearing a protective boot on the injured foot.
The team gave no further information.
