PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating an early morning shooting that killed one person and left another injured.
The shooting happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Wylie Street in the city’s Fairmount section.
When officers arrived, they found two victims on the street with gunshot wounds. One of the victims was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The second victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the wrist.
So far, no arrests have been made and a motive in the shooting remains under investigation.
