CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Zack Rosen made two free throws with 23 seconds left and Pennsylvania finished the game strong with a 55-54 win over Harvard on Saturday night.
Harvard went for the win on Corbin Miller’s 3-point attempt, but his shot missed. The Quakers (17-11, 9-2 Ivy League) closed the second half with a surge, scoring 15 of the game’s last 20 points.
Penn trailed 54-51 when Kyle Casey made two free throws with 1:48 left to play. But Rosen, who had a game-high 20 points, knocked down a jumper and then made his two go-ahead free throws to lift Penn to the victory.
Rosen was the only player to score in double figures for the Quakers, who shot 48.8 percent (20 of 41) from the floor. The Crimson shot 44.4 percent (16 of 36) for the game.
Casey scored 12 points and had five turnovers for Harvard (24-4, 10-2).
