Executive chef Anne Coll (left) is rolling out “meatless Tuesdays” at Meritage Restaurant, 20th and Lombard Streets (near Graduate Hospital).

“Well, we thought it would be a good idea to be one of the first restaurants in the city to offer a day where we serve actually no meat,” she says.  “We’re doing all vegetarian, and some vegan items, to be just a little more… not only health-conscious but also eco-conscious as well.”
