2 Alarm Fire Breaks Out At Montgomery County Laboratory
WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (CBS) -- Firefighters from at least three Montgomery County jurisdictions are battling a multi-alarm fire in West Conshohocken. The blaze, which is now under control, is at Alion Scientific on Clipper Road.
There was reportedly at least one explosion reported at the height of the blaze, requiring the county hazmat chief to be notified.
The building contains a laboratory that performs electromagnetic interference testing. A company spokesman says every employee exited the building safely. The fire was placed under control at about 3:40 p.m.
