Woman Walking From Store With Daughter Struck By Stray Bullet In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A woman is fighting for her life after being caught in the crossfire and shot in the head in Philadelphia Thursday evening.

The shooting happened at Hobart and Master Streets in West Philadelphia.

According to investigators, Keisha Palmer, 38, was walking home from a store with her nine-year-old daughter when a gunfight broke out between at least two suspects. Six shots were fired and Palmer was struck just above the left eye. She was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she remains listed in critical condition.

Investigators say they are searching for at least three suspects. So far, no arrests have been made.
