LEVITTOWN (AP) – Police in Bucks County are trying to find the driver of a vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian and then fled the scene.

Authorities in Bucks County say a 36-year-old Levittown man was walking to a nearby store in Bristol Township early Sunday to meet his mother for a ride home.

They say he was struck by a vehicle that was heading in the same direction on New Falls Road. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Police are searching for a dark-colored car that has damage to the driver’s side and may be missing the mirror on that side.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police.
