BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (AP) — Police in Delaware have charged a Maryland man with a shooting that seriously injured a teen leaving a nightclub.
Delaware State police say the shooting happened Sunday at about 2:30 a.m. outside D-Lows Nightclub in Bridgeville. Police say they arrested 23-year-old Levonte Dockins who was part of a crowd that became disorderly after being told they wouldn't be admitted into the nightclub.
Police say Dockins, of East New Market, Md., fired a handgun into the air and in the direction of a car driving away from the club.
