Philadelphia (CBS) – PennDot, NJDOT, and DelDOT in addition to area municipal crews have been out in full force most of the Saturday night and Sunday morning.

PennDot’s Gene Blaum says it always best to use extra caution especially if you tend to have a heavy foot when driving.

The Schuylkill Expressway, Blue Route (I-476), and I-95 have all been heavily salted.

Some of the most hazardous areas Sunday morning are side streets near your house, ramps to the expressways, driveways, sidewalks and steps.

Allow extra travel time. On mass transit, Septa, Patco, and NJT are all on weekend schedules.

At Philadelphia International Airport, there are no major delays and operations are said to be normal.
