PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police have arrested a suspect they say stole money from a South Philadelphia funeral home.

Authorities say 50-year-old John Mancuso was taken into custody for his alleged role in the theft that occurred on January 11th at the Carto Funeral Home located at 2212 S. Broad Street.

Surveillance video shows the suspect enter the funeral home and while inside, he stole a metal cash box containing $400 in cash. The suspect then walked out of the funeral home.

Investigators say an anonymous tip was received on January 26th identifying Mancuso as the suspect. Mancuso, from the 800 block of Porter Street, was arrested without incident.

Mancuso will be charged with theft and related charges.
