VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (CBS) – The Philadelphia area’s newest casino is scheduled to open its doors this spring in Montgomery County and later this week it will be holding a three-day job fair for food and beverage positions.

Valley Forge Casino Resort will host the job fair Thursday through Saturday from noon until 8 p.m. in the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia. The resort will feature seven new restaurants along with lounges, a nightclub and bars. So, that means plenty of opportunities looking to get into the business.

“Well, we have begun the process and, yeah, there are certainly are a lot of jobs for people if they still want to apply,” says president and CEO Sal Scheri. “They can visit us at VFCasino.com or of course, come right here.”

The resort is looking for shift managers, cooks, restaurant servers, bartenders and model cocktail talent. If you’re coming out to the job fair, they suggest you bring copies of your resume. Valley Forge Casino Resort will create about 650 permanent jobs.
