1 Injured In Serious Crash In Olney

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a serious two-car crash early Tuesday morning that sent one person to the hospital.

The crash happened shortly after midnight at the intersection of Broad Street and Somerville Avenue in the city's Olney section.

According to investigators, two cars collided at the intersection, seriously damaging both vehicles.

One person was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in an unknown condition. It was not immediately known if there were any other injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
