RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Radnor Township police have announced the arrest of a local teacher who allegedly punched a student.

Police say Richard Little of Yeadon was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault after he allegedly punched a female student in the face.

Radnor police say the incident occurred January 23rd at the Presbyterian Children’s Village, which caters to children who were victims of violence, neglect and other serious conditions.

Sources say the student threw a piece of chalk at Mr. Little and he responded by escorting the student into the hallway and punching her in the face, causing her to bleed.

Little was arraigned and held on $100,000 bail.
