The Flyers are at the All-Star break, and with spring training still a month away it gives the Sixers a little time to shine in Philadelphia.
So far, they haven’t disappointed.
They are an exciting team to watch. On Saturday night, André Iguodala celebrated his 28th birthday by scoring the eighth triple-double of his career. And how about Temple’s Lavoy Allen? With Spencer Hawes and Nic Vucevic sidelined with injuries, Allen has come in and scored 31 points and 19 rebounds in four games off the bench.
Right now, they are 14-6, in first place, and they just played in front of a crowd of 18,710 at the Wells Fargo Center. The fans are back.
But this week will be a tough test for the Sixers — Orlando, Chicago and Miami tough.
With so much of the spotlight beaming on them, it will be interesting to see how they handle it.
