Police Investigating Double Murder At Bucks County Apartment Complex

NOCKAMIXON, Pa. (CBS) - A homicide investigation is underway in Bucks County after two people were found dead at an apartment complex.

Police were called out to the Schoolhouse Apartments complex in the 8000 block of Easton Road in Nockamixon Township at about 5:30 on Friday morning.

When they arrived, they discovered the body of 43-year-old Frederick Tarantino, of Ottsville, outside the apartment building. According to police, the preliminary cause of death is multiple blunt force trauma to the head.

Inside the building, police found 36-year-old Stephanie Hill, also from Ottsville, suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. Hill was transported to St. Luke's Hospital in Fair Hill where she later died from her injuries.

As a precaution, authorities alerted the Palisades School District about the investigation and they in turn placed schools on lock down.

Police later located a suspect driving on Route 412, just north of Palisades Middle School. The unidentified suspect was taken into custody without incident and is currently in police custody. Police have not yet released details on a possible motive.

An autopsy for both victims is scheduled for Saturday.
