PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A woman was rushed to the hospital after being shot during an apparent home invasion in South Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

The incident happened at about 6:45 a.m. in the 1500 block of S. Stanley Street in the city’s Grays Ferry neighborhood.

According to investigators, the unidentified 25-year-old woman was shot twice in the back during the home invasion.

The victim was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in an unknown condition.

Authorities say that the woman put up a struggle during the invasion. Police are searching for two masked suspects who were seen running out of the home and down an alley.

So far, no arrests have been made. The shooting remains under investigation.
