Philadelphia Auto Show Boasts 'Bigger, Bolder' Experience Than Ever Before

By Cherri Gregg and Bob Kelly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Auto Show will return to the Pennsylvania Convention Center beginning on Saturday.

A quarter of a million people are expected to attend this year's auto show, which will showcase more than 700 vehicles from 40 manufacturers worldwide.

"It's bigger, bolder than ever before," said Kevin Mazzucola, Executive Director of the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia.

He says the auto show is boasting a bigger space so that visitors can see, touch and experience the latest rides all on one level, side by side, organized by category.

"It's 600,000 square feet, 10 football fields, three city blocks. I can say all those stats, but it means one thing- we are poised to have the best Philadelphia show in our 110 year history."

And for the first time ever there will be an indoor 'Ride and Drive' where attendees can test drive the latest line of Toyota Prius models.

The auto show runs through February 5th.
