Video Review: Woody Allen Classics Re-Released On Blu-Ray

By Bob Nelson

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It’s a ‘banner’ week for videos, especially if you are a Woody Allen fan.

Two of the master’s most beloved films are making their come-backs on Blu-ray. Annie Hall from 1977 and Manhattan from 1979 (a film he recently mentioned in an interview as ‘somewhat over-rated’).

1954 produced the Japanese ‘monster movie’: Godzilla. This week, Godzilla is re-introduced for American audiences with a Blu-Ray version.

Seth Rogen and Anjelica Huston are featured in the rather unusual comedy, 50/50.

And, Real Steel deals with a future in which robots replace professional fighters.
