PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in the Wayne Junction neighborhood of Northwest Philadelphia.

Just after 2 p.m., when police responded to the 4500 block of North 19th Street they discovered a male in his 40’s with a gunshot wound the chest and a female in her 30’s with a gunshot wound to the head.

Both victims were pronounced dead on the scene.

No identities have been released.

This incident remains under police investigation.
