PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The FBI is asking for the public’s help in capturing a suspect who robbed one bank and attempted to rob another in a 10 minute span.
The incidents happened January 19th at two separate banks on Woodland Avenue.
In the first incident, the suspect entered the Sovereign Bank located at 6500 Woodland Avenue at 9:05 a.m. and presented the teller with a threatening demand note. The suspect was unable to obtain any money and fled the bank on foot.
Just 10 minutes later, the same suspect walked into the M&T Bank located at 6301 Woodland Avenue and again presented a teller with a threatening demand note. The suspect fled the bank after getting an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 30 years-of-age, about 5’4”-5’6” with a thin to medium build.
