PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Snow covered roadways and ice are making it hard for commuters in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Eyewitness News was on the corner of E. Welsh and Norristown Roads in Maple Glen, where several plows came through this morning.

Snow plow driver Mark Tobey, who owns a local construction company, said this type of weather is what he’s been waiting for.

“It’s good for business,” Tobey said.

Eyewitness News also traveled to Warrington in Bucks County, where Tanya Simmons was loading up on supply for the winter weather.

“I just purchased a shovel,” said Simmons, who—like many other people—plans to spend much of her day inside.
