PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Frantz Massenat scored a career-high 24 points to lead Drexel to a 64-58 victory over Virginia Commonwealth on Sunday night.

Chris Fouch’s layup after a VCU turnover and Derrick Thomas’ jumper with 2:29 remaining gave Drexel a 57-53 lead.
The Rams (11-5, 2-2) scored twice on free throws before Damion Lee iced the game for Drexel, twice getting fouled and making both free throws for a 61-55 lead with 18 seconds left.
