ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) — The first of more than 300 slot machines arrived at an Atlantic City that’s under construction Wednesday.
Workers carried the blank machines into Revel casino. The branding representing the games will be added later and it will be several months before patrons can start feeding them cash.
Revel will have 1,100 hotel rooms and employ about 5,500 people when it opens its doors at the north end of the Boardwalk. That’s scheduled to happen on May 15.
Officials estimate Atlantic City’s 12th casino will cost $2.4 billion to build.
