2 Arrested In Cheltenham Christmas Day Murder

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Montgomery County authorities say an alleged killer is now behind bars and a second man has been charged in connection with a Christmas Day murder inside a home in Cheltenham that police say was sparked by jealousy (see related story).
Prosecutors say the US Marshals and Philadelphia Police homicide were able to track down Rayshon Carwheel, 24, and arrest him for the murder of Robens Borno.
Borno was gunned down while he wrapped presents with his new girlfriend, the mother of Carwheel's child.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman says it was important to get Carwheel off the streets.
"Aside from the serious nature of the crime, you also have potential threats against witnesses and intimidation of witnesses," Ferman said.
Carwheel is being held without bail, charged first- and third-degree murder.
A second man, identified as Ezra Childs (right), is also in custody, charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Ferman says he was a lookout and also displayed a gun during the crime.
