Eagles Fans Offer Advice To Team Owner Jeffrey Lurie

By Michelle Durham

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — It has been reported that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie will hold a press conference on Thursday….what he will discuss is not known…but on Monday, one day after the team’s  season officially ended, some fans at Philadelphia’s oldest bar offered advice they would give Lurie — if they were his most trusted advisor.

At McGillins Olde Ale House the beer was flowing — and so were the opinions — many of which surrounded head coach Andy Reid.

“13 years has been long enough,” said Zach. “If I didn’t do well at my job for 13 years, I’d probably be looking for a new one. It’s time for a change. They still make the same mistakes. That’s the biggest thing. Yeah, they won four games, but they still run out of timeouts and they still can’t run a two minute drill. That’s the coach’s fault.”

“Number one…big draft pick, new quarterback, new coach,” said Steve.

“New coach, new coach…sorry new coach. It’s just time,” added Ed. “Andy has done very well for the years he has been here, but it’s just time for a change.”

Even a fan from New York shared his opinion.

“Tell him to buy the Giants!,” said Brendan.

Would NOT want to see anyone from Philly buy the Giants!!! My beloved Giants at least made it into the post season – albeight in a horrible division.

Jeff LOSER Lurie has to let Andy Reid go. He has to let Juan Castillo go. He has to let DeSean BIG MOUTH Jackson go. He has to let Asante Samuel go. Neither player wants to play for the Eagles – so let them go and take their chances.

I’d love to see Jackson and Samuel both go to Dallas. The first time they open their big mouths down there Jerry Jones will have them pistol whipped!!!

If you watch the other great coaches around the NFL – like Tom Coughlin – you wonder why you waste your time cheering and supporting such a bunch of losers like the Eagles and the whole organization. A simple thing like time management – watch Tom Coughlin at it – he’s a master.

The 3 point loss to the Patriots in that Super Bowl is why I am now a New York Giants fan. My husband said go with a winner – so that’s what I did. The Giants are WINNERS. The same team that beat the Eagles by 3 to win a Super Bowl LOST to the Giants – by 3.

    ENOUGH SAID?????????????????
