Man Shot In Face During Robbery Attempt In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An early morning robbery attempt left a Northeast Philadelphia man hospitalized and a gunman on the loose on Monday.
According to police, a Frankford man in his 30's was shot in the face during an attempted robbery not far from his home around 5:30 a.m. in the 46-hundred block of Mulberry Street.
The gunman apparently fired several shots when the victim put up a struggle.
The victim was listed in critical condition at the Albert Einstein Medical Center.
The suspect remained at large.
