Local Soldier Returns From Iraq In Time For Christmas With His Family

By Jericka Duncan

PHILADELPHIA(CBS) – It was a Christmas Day to remember for a military family at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey.

“I’m just so glad to be home,” said Sergeant Richard Jose.

Jose returned from a 10-month tour in Iraq. The 47-year-old unwrapped gifts with his wife Juliet and two youngest sons, eight-year-old Keymad and three-year-old Demario.

CBS3 was there as Keymad jumped up and down after opening up a CD that he wanted.
