Philadelphia (CBS) – “This isn’t exactly last minute, next to last minute,” said shopper Joan Mann.
If you’ve waited until the final days, the eve of Christmas, you’re likely considered last minute. It’s not uncommon, though.
According the National Retail Federation less than half of shoppers completed their holiday shopping in the first two weeks of December.
Stephen and Lynette Miller are part of that group.
“We shopped early,” said Stephen. “I’m looking for my wife’s birthday gift.”
For some reason many of us choose to stand in line, at the last minute, year after year.
When you’ve waited this long to shop the best bargains are hard to come by, according to Joan Mann.
