Man Manages To Fire Gun At Suspects During Home Invasion In Montgomery County

By Cherri Gregg

Philadelphia (CBS) – A homeowner turned the tables on a couple of burglars during a home invasion Saturday morning.

Police say two men wearing ski masks and armed with handguns broke into a home in the 700 Block of Danbury Street in Whitpain Township. When the suspects entered the master bedroom, the homeowner chased the two men from the home, firing three shots at the suspects.

At this point, police say no one was hurt and nothing appears to have been taken. If you have any information, contact Whitpain police at 610-279-9033.

Prepare for a lot of checkmates as citizens are exercising their “castling” move more and more. This is the only way to keep these savages at bay.

The headline is typical: pinheaded civilian figures out where the trigger is and spews lead in unsafe manner. It’s as if police were not the group most likely to shoot themselves.

With gun control, this homeowner would of either been robbed or dead. Love stories like this.

[…] People never can successfully defend themselves with a gun, if you ask our opponents. Remember, for them it’s only a DGU if there’s a corpse. Kudos to the homeowner, but three shots and not a hit? Time to get to the range. Also interesting is that neighborhood is rich. This is not far from where I used to work for ten years, and I could never afford to live in the neighborhood I worked, and I didn’t make bad money. […]

I need more time at the range.
