LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) — Chris Fouch scored a season-high 24 points, hitting six three-pointers, and Drexel held Niagara without a field goal for more than 14 minutes in the second half of a 71-58 victory on Tuesday night.

The Drexel Dragons (4-4) had their own shooting woes in the first half, losing a nine-point lead en route to trailing 37-31 at the break.

Drexel then broke the game open with a 29-4 run.

After Scooter Gillette’s layup 19 seconds into the second half, the Purple Eagles (4-7) didn’t hit another field goal until Antoine Mason’s three-pointer with 5:30 left.

Mason scored 10 points and Juan’ya Green had eight of his 22 on an 18-7 run that got Niagara to 67-58 with 2:35 left.

The Purple Eagles shot 20.7 percent (6 of 29) in the second half.

Damion Lee added 19 points for the Dragons and Samme Givens had 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
