After a cool start to the weekend with a high of 50 on Saturday, southerly winds with sunshine bumped temperatures in the upper 50s today.
The southerly wind flow ahead of an approaching cold front will keep high temperatures well above average the next couple of days. Highs on Monday will be in the lower 60s under partly sunny skies. More clouds and some showers will arrive on Tuesday as the front approaches.
Temperatures will still be mild around 60 degrees. The average high this time of year is in the upper 40s so we are well above that number.
If you are hoping for more typical December weather, wait until the end of the week as temperatures return to average and possibly below average.
