Authorities Investigating Double Homicide In Chester County

WEST GROVE, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Chester County are investigating a double homicide that happened late Saturday night.

New Garden Township Police were called out to Jennersville Region Hospital in West Grove for a report of a man critically injured from stab wounds. Upon their arrival, officers learned that the victim, 27-year-old Cuahuctemoc Bedolla, was being flown to Christiana Hospital in Delaware where he would later die from his injuries.

The investigation revealed that earlier in the evening, Bedolla was at a party in the 1600 block of Baltimore Pike in Avondale with several friends. A little after 10 p.m., a large fight broke out among guests and a group of uninvited people. Police say it was during the fight that Bedolla received his stab wounds.

During a search of the property, investigators located a second victim identified as 29-year-old Jose Rodriquez who was found dead at the scene. His exact cause of death is unknown at this time.

New Garden Township Police, the Chester County Detectives Office and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating this case.
