Red Cross Assisting 2 Families Affected By Cobbs Creek House Fire

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A fire broke out at a home in the Cobbs Creek section of Philadelphia Saturday morning.

At about 2 a.m., crews were called to a two-story building in the 5600 block of Montrose Street. Authorities were able to extinguish the fire about an hour later.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported although the American Red Cross is assisting about eight people who were affected by the blaze.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
