SEATTLE, Wash. (CBS) – It will be a shorthanded Eagles team (4-7) that takes the field in Seattle tonight.
QB Michael Vick, WR Jeremy Maclin, and CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie are all out for this game. In addition, RB LeSean McCoy (toe) and CB Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) are questionable to suit up.
These injuries are just the latest problems in what has turned into a nightmare season for the Eagles.
But despite lots of issues, they are still mathematically alive for the postseason and obviously need a victory tonight to maintain those remote hopes.
It hasn’t been all unicorns and rainbows for the Seahawks, either. They are also 4-7, and they have been plagued by inconsistency and hit hard by injuries as well.
One key for tonight, WR Sidney Rice, won’t play with a concussion.
KYW’s Matt Leon spoke with the radio voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible, to get a feel for what the Seahawks season has been like and what he expects tonight.
