(“The Smurfs,” now on DVD.)
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There aren’t many films of a spectacular nature on this week’s video list, although the New York Times suggests that if you are looking for family entertainment there’s an unusual release titled The Smurfs, featuring Neal Patrick Harris voicing the father of an unusual family.
Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis are featured in a film titled Friends With Benefits, which packs enough simulated sex and near-total nudity to embarass an audience of almost any age.
Paul Rudd and Zooey Deschanel co-star in Our Idiot Brother, another film packing saucy elements.
And Werner Herzog leads a French crew to what has been termed “the oldest human art we know” in a film called The Cave of Forgotten Dreams.
An unusual week of unusual films!
