Philadelphia Police Charge Woman With Murder Following Car Accident

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police arrested and charged a 30-year-old woman with murder after authorities say she struck a man with a vehicle on Sunday.

A little before 2 a.m., in the 2400 block of Morris Street, Keisha Jones was involved in an argument with 28-year-old Tyrone Taylor inside a 2002 Acura.

According to police, when Taylor stopped the vehicle and walked away, Jones got into the driver's seat, drove over the sidewalk and intentionally struck Taylor. Medics pronounced Taylor dead at the scene. Jones faces murder, involuntary manslaughter, and vehicular homicide charges.

The relationship between Jones and Taylor is not clear, but authorities say both are from the 5300 block of Kershaw Street.
