PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Authorities are investigating a school bus accident in Bridesburg Monday afternoon.
The crash happened in the 4100 block of Richmond Street around 4 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the car wedged underneath the rear of the bus.
Authorities say there were more than 20 school children on the bus heading home from the Maritime Academy Charter School at the time of the accident. Some sustained minor injuries. Police said two of the students were transported to an area hospital for precautionary reasons.
There is no word at this time on the condition of the driver or if any charges have been filed.
