Mild Days Continue

It doesn't feel like Thanksgiving weekend as an unseasonably warm air mass continues to park itself right over the mid-Atlantic This entire holiday weekend has had high temperatures about 15 degrees above average.
So far, we have had three days of 60+ degree temperatures and expect two more to go. In Philadelphia, Friday's high reached 64, 65 on Saturday, and 66 on Sunday.
If we get enough sunshine on Monday we could hit 67. This is equivalent to late April or mid October. Record highs for Philadelphia right now are in the low 70s, so we won't break them.
Showers return to the forecast for Tuesday afternoon, but a wind flow out of the southeast should still keep us well into the 60s for the highs. The cold front, which will provide the rain, will slide through on Tuesday night. This will put an end to the mild stretch of weather as 50s and 40s return to the forecast late in the week.
