Eagles Fans Fed Up Over Loss

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia Eagles fans who spoke with Eyewitness News after Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots say they are fed up.

Despite high expectations at the outset, fans say the season is now a dismal one and they say it doesn't even matter there are games left to play.

"It's over, it's over, it's over," said Abner Garcia of Vineland.

"It's a shame it's Thanksgiving and we're already talking about next year," said Scott Goines of Pottsville.

Eagles fans were so disappointed, many of them started leaving shortly after the start of the second half, lots of time left, but little faith.

"You get the life sucked out of you in there," said Marc Krasner of Marlton. He said he didn't go into the game but could hear fans chanting 'Fire Andy' while he hung out with friends at a tailgate in the parking lot of Lincoln Financial Field.

"All these mistakes, it's time. He had his chance, it's time. No one wants him here," said Krasner.

"They're going to have the same report at the end of the show. Andy Reid's going to say 'It's my fault,'" said Jacel Ware or North Philadelphia.

Ware is a Patriot fan who was able to enjoy his dinner at Champs Restaurant during the game. Nearby Eagles fan Paul McGlade was trying to stay positive.

"Now we're hoping for a better draft pick," said McGlade with a laugh.
