Charges Pending Against Woman For Running Over And Killing Boyfriend In South Philadelphia

Philadelphia (CBS) – Police are questioning a 30-year-old woman who ran over and killed her 28-year-old boyfriend during what may have been dispute around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Investigators say the couple had both been inside a car when the boyfriend jumped out in the 2400 block of Morris Street near Ringold Street in South Philadelphia. The car the woman was operating went out of control, struck the boyfriend, and came to rest in a vacant lot.

The boyfriend was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman was admitted to the hospital for treatment of various injuries.

The investigation continues. Charges pending.
